The Nubble is a green-built, energy-efficient, year round cottage, located on the Quietside of Mt Desert Island. It is fronted by the ocean and surrounded by beautiful woodlands. Huge windows create a sunny warm space and provide great views. Modern, open concept, with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and a wood stove. The cottage has one bedroom with a king bed and one full bath. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a sleeping loft, only accessible by ladder, with a twin and double bed. With secluded beach access and walking trails on the property, which is located about a 10 minute drive from SW Harbor, this is a unique and magical location. The Nubble shares the property with a larger, rustic-style house, called The Lopaus House, which may also be rented.
