At low tide, enjoy a short walk to West Street, then down Bridge Street for a unique experience of crossing a sand bar to Bar Island, or simply walk along the sand bar collecting shells and photographing the spectacular views. Then from the harbor, take the famous Shore Path for another lovely stroll. When you're ready to venture beyond the village into Acadia National Park, you'll find many park entrances all within easy reach.
